Job Title     Regional Account Manager
Location     Flexible within Norfolk, Suffolk & Essex
Competitive salary – between 35-40k depending on experience with bonus and excellent benefits


Where you’ll work

Your base of work is flexible as you will be covering Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex areas,  where your job purpose is to retain and manage all aspects of the Regional Account Portfolio provided and monitor all performance, legislative, Health & Safety [H&S] regulations together with debt control and all other aspects of the services provided. Communicate current regulation updates, reporting site waste plans with implementation. Ensure account growth.

What you’ll do

As the Regional Account Manager you will ensure Key Performance Indicators [KPIs] are met and improved upon and introduce innovative recommendations and solutions, you will ensure profitability levels are maintained and, where possible, improved by making regular proactive contact with customers and providing performance results as and when required. You will be required to continually research and communicate legislative changes and ensure that the customer is updated with any technological advances when applicable. You will be responsible for the re-tender for contracts due to expire and monitor re-implementation and ensuring that customer inquiries and complaints are dealt with in a courteous and professional manner.

You will have no direct people responsibility, however, you must ensure that staff operate safely and carry out their roles in a manner that does not adversely affect the H&S of any work colleagues, whilst also ensuring that there is no H&S risk to employees working on site.

As the Regional Account Manager you will be required to explore business opportunities with a view to enhancing the service by providing detailed information regarding market changes. You will be required to monitor debt control & contract renewal dates and take appropriate action as required. You will report on sales force with regards to account activity on a regular basis, update pipeline report and reports on all accounts weekly and ensure that debt levels for all accounts are reported monthly.

Skills & Qualifications required for the role

To enable you to carry out this role you will have established knowledge and experience within the waste industry, you will possess Account Management experience working within Business to Business, preferably in a Commercial environment. You will have proven relationship management skills, evidence of managing commercial contracts and the ability to produce performance reports
