The Role : This exciting role is all about maintaining and growing regional growth and retention with local sales teams across High Transactional Business at the lower Level sales and the bigger Bid and Tender wins from the RDM’s and own involvement. My client are looking for an individual to lead the sales teams within the Southern region and supply a strategic approach to the sales management, through the leadership of a sales management team to identify and grow relevant target markets. To maximise revenue and profitability of the region through developing strong and sustainable relationships with waste producers .
To work as part of the senior management team to develop the sales and marketing strategy for the (South) Commercial Division. To contribute to sales strategy across the wider VES structure. The contribution in strategic projects as required as part of the senior management team (e.g. acquisitions, strategic projects and development opportunities) including that of the wider VES.
The Ideal Candidate: Strong knowledge of the waste & recycling market advantageous with a strong understanding of legislation, market drivers, trends and available technology. Excellent knowledge of the wider key regional & local customer base, market drivers/trends and competition within the same. Significant experience obtained in senior sales management/leadership including management of large national multi discipline sales teams and associated functions (sales office, marketing and development) Strong communication skills including negotiating and influencing
Strategic based approach. Leadership skills, the ability to attract, train and mentor a sales management team. It is essential you have a high degree of motivation, autonomy and drive.
Essential- Solution Sales background , Strategic Sales – Industry , Logistics , Transportation, Facilities Management background essential.
