Role: Estimator/Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £45k - £60k with benefits (depending on experience)

Industry: Demolition/Construction

Location: Berkshire

About the Role: This role will be for an Estimator, to join one of our clients in the construction/demolition space. The selected candidate will report directly to the Business Manager, and work closely with him on pricing jobs. You will be estimating costs, and ensuring smooth running’s of demolition work taking place around the country. It will be the estimator’s responsibility to perform the following:

• develop and maintain relationships
• remain aware of all relevant pricing
•  look to reduce costs where possible
• gather quotes
• come up with innovative ideas and solutions
• act as a middleman for client and customer

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will be somebody that has previous experience as an estimator, or a quantity surveyor, and has the relevant knowledge of the construction/demolition world. This person must have a good understanding of health and safety precautions and procedures and have the ability to work to deadlines. Most importantly, our client are looking for the right character, who is approachable and a consistent motivator, who can be a valuable part of the team.
