Job Title: Sales Cost Estimator

Location: Cotswolds, UK

Salary: £30,000 per annum + performance-based bonus

Your Role:

As our Sales Cost Estimator you'll be at the heart of our projects, ensuring every cost is calculated with precision. You'll collaborate with various teams to deliver accurate, competitive estimates that help us win and deliver exceptional projects. Your expertise will guide our efforts in the fast-paced commercial fuels industry.

Our core offerings include above-ground steel fuel storage tanks, fuel pumps, tank gauges, and comprehensive service contracts. With a strong commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, we're on the lookout for a talented Sales Cost Estimator to help drive our growth across the UK and Ireland.

 

Key Responsibilities:

-Estimate Mastery: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for products, services, and projects 

-Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, project management, and engineering teams 

-Technical Insight: Analyse drawings and specifications to identify project needs 

-Supplier Negotiation: Obtain and assess quotes to ensure competitive pricing 

-Risk Management: Monitor changes and adjust estimates accordingly 

-Knowledge Base: Maintain a database of cost data and pricing for future use 

-Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and stay updated on industry trends

 

What You Bring:

-Education: Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is a plus 

-Experience: Proven track record as an Estimator, preferably in the commercial fuels industry 

 

Skills:

- Expertise in estimation techniques and software 

- Analytical, detail-oriented, and organised 

- Strong communicator and team player 

Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimation software
